For de allerfleste falder sygdommen til ro i l\u00f8bet af det f\u00f8rste \u00e5r, men 5-10% vil i de efterf\u00f8lgende \u00e5r opleve sygdomsaktivitet.<\/p>\n<p>For at monitorere sygdomsaktivitet, vil l\u00e6gen sp\u00f8rge ind til symptomer (mavesmerter, diarr\u00e9), tage blodpr\u00f8ver og udf\u00f8re kikkertunders\u00f8gelser. Ved tilbagefald kan det v\u00e6re n\u00f8dvendigt med mere intensiv medicinsk behandling for at f\u00e5 sygdommen i ro. I de f\u00f8rste fem \u00e5r efter diagnosen f\u00e5r lidt over 10% fjernet en del af tarmen.<\/p>\n<p>Ligesom \u00e5rsagen til IBD, er det er uklart hvorfor nogle rammes af et sv\u00e6rere sygdomsforl\u00f8b end andre. Det er dog vigtigt at f\u00f8lge behandlingsplanen og snakke med l\u00e6gen, hvis man opdager forv\u00e6rring i sygdommen.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][vc_column column_width_percent=&#8221;100&#8243;
