Der er to former;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"font-762333\"><strong>Crohn\u00b4s\u00a0Sygdom<\/strong><br \/>\nSes ofte i tyndtarmen og eller tyktarmen, men kan opst\u00e5 i hele tarmsystemet fra mund til \u201dbund\u201d. Bet\u00e6ndelsen kan g\u00e5 gennem alle tarmens lag.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"font-762333\"><strong>Colitis ulcerosa<\/strong><br \/>\nSes kun i tyktarmen og bet\u00e6ndelsen sidder i tarmens overfladiske lag (slimhinden).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"font-762333\"><strong>Hvor mange?<\/strong><br \/>\n5 millioner mennesker har IBD. Nogle lande har flere tilf\u00e6lde end andre. Antallet af sygdomstilf\u00e6lde i hele verden er stigende.Ca. 53.000 mennesker i Danmark har IBD, der er ca. 800 patienter i alderen 0-18 \u00e5r med Crohns sygdom eller colitis ulcerosa. Der kommer ca. 150 nye tilf\u00e6lde pr. \u00e5r. Nogle f\u00e5r diagnosen, n\u00e5r de er sm\u00e5 (under 10 \u00e5r). Det kan tage lang tid, f\u00f8r diagnosen bliver stillet. Det tager ogs\u00e5 tid at finde den rigtige behandling.<br \/>\nSygdommen bev\u00e6ger sig i b\u00f8lger. Der er perioder uden aktivitet i sygdommen (remission), perioder med sm\u00e5 skvulp, og perioder med store b\u00f8lger (flare ups).
